Noorazmir was called to the Bar back in May 2007, and he has come a long way since. A law graduate from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), he commenced his career as a Legal Associate in Messrs Sabri Ahmad & Co., handling civil cases.

In 2011, he took the initiative to open up his own legal practice, Messrs Noorazmir Khadijah & Associates. It was here that Noorazmir shone and recognised by his peers and colleagues as an accomplished litigator specializing in defamation cases.

A human rights champion at heart, Noorazmir has represented public figures, VIPs and politicians, to ordinary citizen in need, in upholding their rights under the law. Among the notable cases handled by Noorazmir includes the case involving the people of Kampung Chubadak, whose settlements were being subjected to be demolished.

With regards to the local political scenes, Noorazmir is well-known and he has held various positions in numerous political parties and non-government organisations (NGOs). He provides legal advice to political parties and NGOs in terms of election-based rules and regulations as well as constitutional law.

As a person who loves challenges, Noorazmir decided to leave Messrs Noorazmir Khadijah & Associates in 2016 and took up the role as partner at Messrs Akram Hizri Azad & Azmir, where he is currently in charge of the firm’s civil litigation department.
