Muhammad Nabil Fikri bin Mat Aji holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), along with a Diploma in Syariah Practice (DLSA).
His passion for law led him to start his legal career after graduating, commencing his pupillage in 2009 under the mentorship of Mr. Zulkepli bin Omar at Messrs Lainah Yaacob & Zulkepli. Upon being called to the Bar in October 2010, Nabil embarked on his legal journey as an Associate at Messrs Razif Abdul Aziz & Partners in Kuala Lumpur.
Through his dedication and commitment, Nabil quickly rose through the ranks, and in February 2013, he was promoted to Partner and took on the responsibility of heading the firm’s Litigation Department. His expertise in litigation became increasingly well-regarded, particularly in banking litigation and civil disputes involving complex contractual matters.
In April 2021, Nabil joined Akram Hizri Azad & Azmir as a Senior Legal Associate, bringing his vast experience in banking litigation and civil litigation to the firm. He has successfully represented numerous well-known financial institutions, including Bank Pertanian Malaysia Berhad (Agrobank), Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad, and Lembaga Perumahan & Pembiayaan Sektor Awam (LPPSA), in court hearings, full trials, and appeals, building a solid reputation as a litigator who achieves favorable outcomes for his clients.
In January 2024, Nabil was promoted to Partner at Akram Hizri Azad & Azmir, and continues to lead the Litigation Department with dedication and skill. Since then, he has also successfully obtained his Syarie Lawyer license for Federal Territories of Malaysia, further solidifying his expertise to cover Islamic law as well.
